05 Mar Spiritual Meets Corporate
Through the profound work of Brené Brown, we have discovered how essential vulnerability is to creativity. Shame stifles vulnerability. Shame, in its essence, is born in believing we are unworthy. Knowing we are worthy and enough is remembered through our spiritual connection.
The Longing Workshop series offers your employees a chance to reflect on Who They Are through a gentle exploration of their relationship to a Higher Consciousness. In a safe environment which encourages individuals to step out of fear and into trust, we will contemplate, experience and discuss what gives life meaning.
“There is a candle in your heart, ready to be kindled. There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled. You feel it, don’t you?” ~Rumi
As a Spiritual Doula trained in Interspiritual Counselling, I offer this opportunity to nurture a more creative and collaborative work culture. The experience is intended to diminish anxiety and increase confidence by facing questions that are no longer being answered satisfactorily, for many people, in traditional religious buildings. An inter-spiritual approach allows for all expressions of faith and traditions, including agnostics and atheists, to ponder how we could be more aligned with our spirit at work and at home.
The Longing can be experienced in 5 weekly two hour sessions, 2 half days or one full day. Because community is formed in the process and because this experience is just a beginning, monthly 2 hour meetings on different topics of discussion and experience are offered.
“Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.” ~Rumi
The workshop is open to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 participants. Please contact me for current investment in the program. Monthly sessions (Meta Circle) are offered by donation from administration or participants (recommended offering is $10-20/person). Half of these offerings cover my time, while the other half goes into a scholarship fund for financially challenged folks in the general community to participate in The Longing.
